BENEFIT 498: The Conflict in Sudan

Question: Regarding the war in Sudan, who is in the right: the Sudanese army under the leadership of Burhan, or the Rapid Support Forces under the leadership of Hemedti? Sheikh Najeeb Ash-Shar’abi ḥafidhahullāh: The Rapid Support Forces are rebels against the state, lawless and aggressive. They have attacked the people of Sudan, violated sanctities, killed innocent lives, raped women, and plundered the country’s resources, including gold and oil, for the benefit of a foreign state at a meager price. I ask Allāh to hold them accountable and to protect the people of Sudan from their evil, and to grant success to the Sudanese army and the Sudanese state in all that pleases Him.
