Benefit 61: Does one have to narrate ḥadīth to be considered from Ahlul-ḥadīth?

Sheikhul Islām ibn Taymiyyah raḥimahullāh said:
ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﺤﺪﻳﺚ ﻫﻢ اﻟﻤﻨﺘﺴﺒﻮﻥ ﺇﻟﻴﻪ اﻋﺘﻘﺎﺩا ﻭﻓﻘﻬﺎ ﻭﻋﻤﻼ، ﻛﻤﺎ ﺃﻥ ﺃﻫﻞ اﻟﻘﺮﺁﻥ ﻛﺬﻟﻚ، ﺳﻮاء ﺭﻭﻭا اﻟﺤﺪﻳﺚ ﺃﻭ ﻟﻢ ﻳﺮﻭﻭﻩ.
“Ahlul-ḥadīth are the people who ascribe to it (ḥadīth) in Creed, Jurisprudence and action, the same way Ahlul-Qur'ān do likewise, regardless if they narrate ḥadīth or not.” [Jāmi’ Al-Masā'il (5/75)
