The Duty to Share the Message One of the main things that should encourage a Muslim to invite others to Islam is to realise that the person in front of you — the driver, the house worker, the café employee, or the person sitting next to you on a plane — might never meet you again. If you think about it, this person might die without knowing Islam and end up in the Fire. On the Day of Judgment, he might stand before Allāh and say, “O Lord, this Muslim saw me but never told me about Islam. He didn’t explain the Qur'ān to me, didn’t tell me to believe in Prophet Muḥammad (peace be upon him), and no one ever told me what Islam really is.” This thought should make you feel responsible. My dear brother, I once met a Christian man and spoke to him about Prophet Muḥammad (peace be upon him). I told him how Allāh sent Moses, then Jesus, and then Muḥammad (peace be upon him). The man was surprised and said, “This is the first time I’ve heard that God sent Muhammad after Jesus.” I asked him how long he had lived among Muslims, and he said, “Sixteen years.” Sixteen years living among Muslims, yet he didn’t know that God sent Muhammad after Jesus! We really need to fix this shortcoming. Transmitted from Abdullāh Al-Bolandi ḥafidhahullāh https://t.me/masjidsahabah/1111
