A False Victory Over the Rubble of Gaza No sooner had the dust of battle begun to clear from Gaza than the Ikhwani media machine sprang into action at full throttle, manufacturing a false victory atop the city’s ruins and the torn bodies of its children. They cared little for the scale of the tragedy or the horror of the catastrophe; what occupied them was the safety of the leaders in the trenches and the protection of the leaders in the hotels — as if the blood of our innocent people in the oppressed, afflicted, and plundered Strip were nothing more than bargaining chips in a cheap political bazaar. Experience has shown that the bankrupt, corrupt Ikhwani movement is a calamity for Islam and the Ummah, and that it serves its enemies obediently: it profits from wounds and exploits sacrifices in shady deals. What happened in Gaza is a witness to this: an overt collusion with Netanyahu — the Zionists’ dog — followed by the falsification of public awareness and the polishing of failure to present it as steadfastness and victory. This mendacious media discourse ignores the destroyed homes and the displaced children; instead it busies itself with constructing illusions of victory and weaving myths about alleged “achievements.” But a people that have known the history of the Ikhwanis — the agents of the Franks — know that their accursed project was never anything but a pickaxe to demolish Islamic unity and to confuse the Ummah’s compass. Today it is incumbent upon us to expose the falsehood and unmask the deceit. It is not victory to have Gaza utterly destroyed and its people driven into the open air; it is not heroism to have their blood sold at auction for narrow interests. True victory lies in the clarity of manhaj, the firmness of Aqeedah, and the liberation of the land from the filth of the occupiers and the defilement of reckless, gambling adventurers — not in pandering to emotions with hollow slogans. The Islamic Ummah must speak its word: deliverance will not come from the merchants of blood nor from mercenaries at the enemy’s table, but from a sincere, united Sunni front that raises the banner of Tawhid and the clear manhaj of the pious predecessors, and from jihad made purely for Allāh under the banner of Islam and by the permission of the Imam, until Allāh eliminates the corrupters and grants victory to His truthful servants. There is no victor but Allāh. Salīm ibn ’Eid Al-Hilāli 1447/4/12 (Hijri)
