We have noticed that some individuals are casting doubt on the authenticity of the audio recording we published regarding the visit of some students of the esteemed scholar, Shaykh Yaḥyā ibn ʿAlī Al-Ḥajūrī (may Allāh preserve him), to the eminent scholar Shaykh Rabīʿ ibn Hādī Al-Madkhalī (may Allāh have vast mercy upon him). I say, with Allāh’s guidance and assistance: The audio recording reached us at the time of its occurrence — praise be to Allāh. However, due to our certain knowledge of the efforts of agitators and corrupt individuals, we refrained from publishing it at that time, fearing it would lead to further slander and incitement against Shaykh Rabīʿ, as had happened previously. This was after the Shaykh had released an audio message declaring, “The disputes between Shaykh Rabīʿ and Shaykh Yaḥyā have ended — permanently.” Nevertheless, these individuals persisted in pressuring the Shaykh until he eventually made further statements. This led to scholarly, hadith-based rebuttals, similar to what has occurred among many scholars of the Salaf. Yet, the manner of our Shaykh Yaḥyā was far more gentle — all praise is due to Allāh. May Allāh forgive Shaykh Rabīʿ. As for the slanderers and corrupters, they are never at ease until they succeed in creating discord. They are not satisfied until they hear from others what brings them joy — because they detest reconciliation and actively pursue division. We seek refuge with Allāh from their evil. May Allāh not reward them with good. Secondly: The correct date of the audio recording is as stated in our original post: Friday, 21st of Rabīʿ Al-Awwal, 1445 AH. However, there was an error by one of those who compiled the video, either due to personal judgment or by mistake, whereby 1445 AH was mistakenly replaced with 1446 AH — a clear and obvious error. Thirdly: The published audio is clearly the voice of the well-known Shaykh, and it includes evidence that it is recent — such as when he inquires about Shaykh Yaḥyā and is informed that he is currently in Ḥaḍramawt. Fourthly: There is, by Allāh’s grace, nothing that abrogates this audio recording. It is perfectly clear and serves as a healing remedy for anyone afflicted (spiritually or emotionally). To those who are confused: we advise you to reflect carefully — may Allāh grant you success. To the stubborn and defiant: you have failed and lost — your merchandise has perished and your project has collapsed, by the grace of Allāh Almighty.
