The Da'wah Does Not Need Us; It Is We Who Are in Need of The Da'wah

Abu Mashkhoor ḥafidhahullāh said: "Whoever assumes that the da'wah is in need of him should reflect upon the Āyah in which Allāh, after mentioning eighteen prophets, says: ﴿أولئك الذين آتيناهم الكتاب والحكم والنبوة فإن يكفر بها هؤلاء فقد وكلنا بها قوما ليسوا بها بكافرين﴾ "Those were the ones to whom We gave the Scripture, authority, and prophethood. But if these [people] disbelieve in it, We have already entrusted it to a people who are not disbelievers in it." [Surah Al-An’am, 6:89] We ask Allāh to grant us assistance in obeying Him."
