We advise such individuals to refer to the following channel for clarification: https://t.me/AlHajoori On the contrary, some have incorrectly claimed that Shaykh Abu Dujanah is not a student of Shaykh Yahya or that he no longer benefits from him. Therefore, the attached audio from Shaykh Abu Dujanah serves to refute such claims and clarify the truth. --------- Sheikh Abu Dujanah says (slightly paraphrased): "Also, during the reading of the hadith, someone asked a question. He said he felt uncomfortable asking it. What was the question that made him feel that way? Someone (a non-Arab) came to our masjid and asked, "Who is the Sheikh Abu Dujana?" They told him he is [affiliated with] Al-Hajoori. Then he said, "He is [affiliated with] Al-Hajouri, I won't take knowledge from him." This non-Arab man doesn’t know how to properly read Al-Fatihah, doesn’t know how to make wudu, and doesn’t know much. Yet he travelled 15,000 miles from here all the way to Yemen (figuratively) to say he won't take knowledge from Al-Hajoori. Is that right? Is that reasonable? This Al-Hajoori is my Sheikh, and also Sheikh Muqbil (may Allāh have mercy on him) is my sheikh too. Now I ask: Has anyone here attended the masjid within these 15 years? Has anyone ever come and we told him, “Write your name to be with us, to be with Al-Wadi’ee, to be with Al-Hajoori, or with so-and-so”? Have we ever said this? No — what we say is: “Allah said, the Messenger said. We say: “Al-Wadi’ee said,” When reading Al-Jami' As-Saheeh; which is a collection of hadith. So is this considered blind following (fanaticism)? Some people say that. So may Allāh reward the person who asked.
