Refute Falsehood With Knowledge and Don't be Discouraged Sheikh Fawzān ḥafidhahullāh says: It is not permissible to remain silent in the face of such individuals (i.e. People of falsehood). Unfortunately, however, if someone dares to respond to them, people often say, 'You are hasty,' or 'You have this flaw or that,' or 'This person does not deserve a response,' or 'Had you remained silent, his matter would not have become well known,' and similar whispers of doubt. Such notions should not deter the scholars from exposing to the people the evil of these callers to misguidance; they must not be discouraged.
