Hiding Behind Ijtihād

A common tactic employed by Ahl At-Tamyee to undermine the foundations of Salafiyyah is to blur the line separating Ahlus-Sunnah from Ahlul-Bid’ah. They mislabel clear and undeniable deviations as mere issues of ijtihād, all in an effort to shield themselves from the refutations of Ahlul-Haqq. How often do we witness them attempting to conceal the glaring flaws in their manhaj through such deceptive means? "Indeed, it is not the eyes that are blind, but it is the hearts within the chests that are blind." [Sūrah Al-Ḥajj: 46]
