BENEFIT 84: The Impact of Kind

Words Imām Al-Albāni—may Allāh have mercy on him—said: «بعض المرضى يعافون بمجرد أن يسمعوا كلاما لطيفا من طبيبهم؛ فأولى وأولى أن يكون طالب العلم الذي يتولى إرشاد الناس وهدايتهم إلى اتباع السنة واتباع ما كان عليه سلفنا الصالح رضي الله عنهم ، أن يكون رفيقا في دعوتهم لطيفا في معاملتهم» "Some patients recover merely upon hearing kind words from their doctor; it is even more fitting, therefore, that the student of knowledge—who undertakes the task of guiding people and calling them to follow the Sunnah and the way of our righteous predecessors, may Allāh be pleased with them—should be gentle in his Da’wah and courteous in his dealings with them."
