This is because people live upon error and misguidance, which causes their hearts to harden(1). But when the truth is clarified and falsehood is refuted, this—without a doubt—is among the things that soften hearts. _ (1) Mistakes made by scholars and students of knowledge are especially deserving of clarification, given their significant and far-reaching impact.
