BENEFIT: Name for us your Men

Question: Should names and translators be known for sourcing and knowing who to refer back to specially when opening a Salafi Da'wah Channel?
Shaykh Abu Usama Muhammad Al Majeedi (حفظه الله )
I say: Yes, my dear brother, a person must write his name.
Ibn Sireen (رحمه الله) said:
“This knowledge is religion, so look to whom you take your religion from.”
He also said: They used to ask about the chain of narration (isnād) and when desires and innovations appeared, they started asking: “Name for us your men.”
If the person was of Ahlus-Sunnah, they would take it from him.
So, the servant, the individual who conveys or shares a benefit must mention his name so he is known. If he is from Ahlus-Sunnah, he is accepted. But if he is unknown among Ahlus-Sunnah, then no. The scholars have warned against taking knowledge from the unknown.
May Allah bless you, clarity is essential. It is necessary to clarify.
However, if it is the official channel of the person, then there is no need in every minor or major post to say: “This was written by so-and-so” or “Transmitted by so-and-so,” because it is already known that this is his official platform.
But if someone is transmitting a benefit or piece of knowledge, then May Allah bless you he must first verify it, and then write his name so he is known.
May Allah preserve and bless you.
