Thus, retaliation against the disbelievers will come — but only after implementating the causes of victory: Tawheed , sound creed, piety, patience, unity, and c

However, if disbelievers launch an assault upon a group of Muslims, those Muslims are obliged to repel the attack to the best of their ability, even if it requires making a peace treaty they may not favour. If they are killed in the process, they must remain patient, for Allāh has willed good for them. As Anas ibn Mālik (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
“Indeed, when Allāh loves a servant, He tests him. Whoever is content will have (Allāh’s) pleasure, and whoever is displeased will earn His displeasure.” [Narrated by At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, and Ahmad from Maḥmūd ibn Labīd]
What Hamas committed in terms of reckless actions and the killing of some Jews will bear their own sin as well those who have been wronged in Gaza, for they failed to consider the consequences. As a result of their recklessness, hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Gaza have been killed. Every form of combat whose outcome is harmful and whose corruption outweighs its benefit is a fighting of fitnah, and its initiator is unjust and sinful. Allāh is the One who grants success and is the One from whom help is sought, and to Him alone do we complain. There is no power and no strength except through Allāh.
We must therefore devote ourselves to sincere supplication for our brothers and sisters. We ask Allāh to grant victory to our people in Gaza and to unite the Muslims.
O Allāh, be a helper and supporter for our brothers in Gaza, their ally and their strength.
O Allāh, they are oppressed, so grant them victory; besieged, so relieve their distress; hungry, so feed them; afraid, so grant them security.
O Allāh, through Your kindness, be gentle with them; through Your mercy, have mercy on them; through Your might, strengthen them; and through Your provision, sustain them — O Mighty, O Gentle, O Merciful, O Provider.
O Allāh, fight the Jews, destroy those who oppress our brothers, shake their footing, and send down Your punishment upon them.
O Allāh, heal their wounded, have mercy on their martyrs, make firm the feet of their fighters, and soothe the hearts of their bereaved and orphans.
O Allāh, unite them upon the truth, make them among Your righteous and patient servants, and fill their hearts with light and certainty.
O Allāh, we entrust Gaza and its people to You — protect them with Your protection, guard them with Your ever-watchful eye, and grant them relief from every distress, an escape from every hardship, and victory over every oppressor.
And may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.
There is no power and no strength except through Allāh, the Most High, the Most Great.
