BENEFIT 410: Beware of Fazaa'il e A'maal & Tableeghi Nisab

Sheikh Sulayman Ar-Ruhaili hafidahullah mentioned while speaking about Jamā'at At-Tablīgh: There is a well-known book among them titled Fazail-e-A'maal, authored by Muhammad Zakariya, who was the son-in-law of Muhammad Ilyas, the founder of the group. He was considered the scholar of the group, if there was any scholar among them, as they generally do not place importance on knowledge and tend to distance themselves from it. Sheikh Hamood At-Tuwaijri, may Allāh have mercy on him, clarified that Muhammad Zakariya was a Deobandi, Chishti, Naqshbandi, and is highly revered by the Tablighi Jamaat, who refer to him as 'The Fragrance of India' and 'The Blessing of the Era'. He adhered to the Sufi path and also authored the book 'Tablighi Nisab', which contains numerous innovations, superstitions, deviations, and even Shirk.
