It is stated in Fatawa Al-Lajnah Ad-Da'imah (vol. 22, p. 138) under the chairmanship of Imam Ibn Baz (may Allāh have mercy on him): يحرم بيع الحشيشة وشراؤها واستعمالها، أكلا وشربًا ومضغًا؛ لما فيها من الإسكار والمضار والمفاسد العظيمة، وقد ورد النهي عن المسكر...، ولا يجوز الأكل من ثمنها.
