What Sheikh Yahya said: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله أما بعد: الشيخ سليم الهلالي حفظه الله أخونا في الله على السنة ليس بيننا وبينه خلاف وما نشره بهذا التاريخ بعض الفاتنين من الكلام عنه كان قديماً وقد حصل بعده بيننا وإياه تناصح وتزاور ونسأل الله أن يديم علينا مع أحبتنا جميعا الأخوة الإيمانية حتى نلقاه ويرحم الشيخ علي الحلبي وسائر أموات المؤمنين وبالله التوفيق قاله الوالد حفظه الله . في الثاني من شهر شوال 1446ه‍ نقله أخوكم: إبراهيم بن يحيى الحجوري. In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful All praise is due to Allāh, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allāh. To proceed: Sheikh Saleem Al-Hilali (may Allāh preserve him) is our brother in faith and upon the Sunnah. There is no dispute between us and him. The statements recently circulated by some agitators regarding him are from the past. Since then, there has been mutual advice and visits between us. We ask Allah to maintain the bond of faith and brotherhood among all our beloved ones until we meet Him. May He also have mercy on Sheikh Ali Al-Halabi(1) and all deceased believers. And Allāh is the source of success. This was stated by our respected father (may Allah preserve him) on the 2nd of Shawwal, 1446 AH. At that time, there was mutual advice and clarification between us, followed by visits. I subsequently travelled to Yemen twice, touring its northern and southern regions as a teacher and caller to Allāh. I also visited Dar Al-Hadith in Dammaj twice, and a bond of brotherhood and love for the sake of Allāh was established between us. To this day, we remain steadfast in our commitment to our brother, Sheikh Yahya Al-Hajoori (may Allāh grant him success). We ask Allah to grant us success in what remains of our lives and to bless us with an end upon Islam and the Sunnah, for He is the One who grants and decrees all matters. Our esteemed brother, Sheikh Yahya, has also clarified this matter—may Allāh reward him with goodness—for he has spoken with wisdom and sincerity.
