There were claims that Sheikh Yahya Al-Hajoori faced restrictions during his time in Saudi Arabia. Some say he was censored due to his outspoken criticism of falsehood and people of falsehood.
However, while recounting his most recent Umrah trip to Saudi, Sheikh Yahya stated:
"The Da’wah (Salafiyyah) is trusted among the righteous and the best of people. Thus we were able to speak, about knowledge, the Sunnah, encouragement and warning, and the refutation of falsehood in all its forms.
By Allāh, we spoke the same way we speak here without hesitation or reservation because we believe that these words bring benefit and rectification. We recognise that people are in need of this guidance and are not indifferent to it. The truth is beloved and sought after, whether we are warning against falsehood or those who promote it. We spoke with confidence, knowing that what we convey is true and beneficial."
