Al-Halabi also supported Murad Shukri’s book, Ihkam At-Taqrir fi Ahkam Al-Takfir, which he personally reviewed and oversaw its publication. The book is based on

The lajna also affirmed Al-Halabi's:
-> distortion in quoting the words of scholars
-> selective omission of scholars' statements, for which he has become well known.
-> misinterpretation of scholars' words by imposing meanings they do not convey,
Imām Al-Barbahārī (may Allāh have mercy on him) said: "Beware of minor newly introduced matters, for small innovations eventually grow until they become major ones."
3⃣. His fabrication against scholars, as seen in a book he co-authored titled Mujmal Masa’il Al-Iman Al-‘Ilmiyyah fi Usul Al-‘Aqidah Al-Salafiyyah (A Summary of Scholarly Issues on the Fundamentals of Salafi Creed). In the introduction, he falsely claimed that various scholars had reviewed and approved the book, listing Sheikh Ahmad ibn Yahya An-Najmi and Muhammad ibn Hadi Al-Madkhali, among others. However, they publicly denied any such endorsement.
-> His fabrication against Sheikh Salih Al-Fawzan (may Allāh protect him), where he published a booklet, added commentary, and falsely attributed its contents to the Sheikh, titling it: "Al-As’ilah Al-‘Iraqiyyah fi Masa’il Al-Iman wal-Takfir Al-Manhajiyyah, wa Ajwibat Fadheelat Al-Sheikh Salih bin Fawzan Al-Fawzan" (The Iraqi Questions on Methodological Issues of Faith and Takfir, with the Answers of Sheikh Salih Al-Fawzan).
The book was published by Dar Al-Minhaj in Cairo (1426 AH) and contained statements contrary to the creed of Ahlus-Sunnah. Sheikh Al-Fawzan publicly refuted the attribution, denying the responses in their entirety. Rather than repenting, Al-Halabi responded arrogantly, publishing an article titled: "Reminding Sheikh Al-Fawzan of What He Has Forgotten: A Scholarly Discussion on the Iraqi Questions."
-> He has become widely known for fabrications and deceit in numerous instances.
4⃣. His acts of academic plagiarism, such as his reproduction of Kitab An-Nihayah fi Gharib Al-Hadith wal-Athar by Ibn Al-Athir, originally edited by At-Tahir Az-Zawi and Dr. Mahmoud At-Tanahi. The original work consisted of five large volumes, but he condensed it into a single large volume.
5⃣. His Attacks on Salafis, which is one of the key signs of the people of innovation.
Imam Abū Ḥātim al-Rāzī (may Allāh have mercy on him) said: "A sign of the people of innovation is their attacks on the people of hadith." [Sharḥ Uṣūl Iʿtiqād Ahl al-Sunnah by al-Lālakāʾī, 1/179; ʿAqīdah al-Salafby al-Ṣābūnī, p. 105]
Al-Ḥalabī has described Salafis who exposed his deviances with the most disgraceful insults, including:
- Calling them "bloodsuckers."
- Comparing them to "pigs."
- Describing them as "flies."
- Accusing them of having "animalistic souls."
-> Despite his relentless criticism of Salafis, Al-Ḥalabī and his followers still accuse them of being "excessive in criticism," when all the Salafis did was merely refute his falsehood using sound evidence and arguments.
6⃣. Al-Ḥalabī’s Praise for Deviants
Al-Ḥalabī has praised and glorified individuals who oppose the methodology of the righteous predecessors and belong to groups of desires and innovation, including:
1. Al-Maʾribī
2. Al-Maghrāwī
3. Al-Ḥuwaynī
4. Ḥassān An-Nadawi
5. ʿAdnan Arʿūr
- Along with others from the people of innovation.
-> A telling incident: One of Al-Ḥalabī’s followers in Gaza defended Safar and Salmān, claiming they were Salafi and that their errors did not remove them from Salafiyyah.
Al-Awzāʿī said: "Whoever conceals his innovation from us, his companionship will not remain hidden from us."
