Visit the scholars there and try to maintain communication with them Some of the Mashaayekh advised: «وأنا أنصح إخواني أن يلتفوا حول علماء أهل السنة وأن يُبيِّنوا لهم الخير والهدى، فإنه قد يلتبس عليهم، لاسيما مع وجود الفتنة في صفوف السلفيين أنفسهم، بأن غلا طائفة وجفا طائفة، فمثل هذا يجعل كثيرًا من أهل العلم لا يُصدق كل ما يُنقل إليه، ولا يُوثق بكل ما يُخبر به. فلذا ينبغي أن نتعاهد علماء السنة هؤلاء بالكلمة الطيبة والمعاملة الطيبة وأن نلتف حولهم وأن نقنعهم لأنهم علماء سنة وأهل غيرة، ولابد أنهم متى ما عرفوا ضلال هؤلاء القوم أنهم سيتخذون موقفًا شرعيًا» "I advise my brothers to gather around the scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah and to clarify the truth and guidance for them, as matters may sometimes become unclear to them—especially given the presence of discord even among the Salafis themselves, where one group has become extreme while another has become negligent. Such circumstances make many scholars cautious about believing everything they hear or trusting every report they receive. Therefore, it is essential to treat these scholars of the Sunnah with kindness, engage with them in a respectful manner, and remain close to them. We must convince them, for they are scholars of the Sunnah and people of sincerity.
