However, the usage of Ḥajāwirah is linguistically incorrect for several reasons: 1. The correct plural form, as mentioned, is Al-Ḥajūriyyūn. 2. Even if one were to form a plural based on the pattern (مفاعل), the wāw occurring after the alif in this broken plural has to be altered, as it is an additional elongated vowel in the singular form (حجور). In Arabic, whenever an elongated vowel appears as an addition in the singular—such as in (عجوز), (صحيفة), and (قلادة)—it is replaced with a hamzah in the plural, resulting in forms like (عجائز), (صحائف), and (قلائد). However, these people are ignorant of the Arabic language, unjust in their speech and meaning, and transgressive—while Allāh does not love the transgressors."
