🤍. He declared that someone who persists upon sin to be a disbeliever, which is from the beliefs of the Khawarij.
He said: "As for a person who persists in sin while knowing that it is sinful, this means he has deemed it permissible! This is clear disbelief! For example, if someone says, 'I know that usury is forbidden, but I will engage in it,' or 'I know that adultery is forbidden, but I will commit it'—this is an obvious case of considering the sin permissible! There is no doubt about the disbelief of such a person." [Part Two of the Lesson on the Conditions of Righteous Deeds]
Note: istihlal is a matter of the heart; not everyone who commits a sin is necessarily a mustahill!

Al-Huwaini stated in the recording 'Events of the Battle of Uhud', dated Friday, 18th Rajab 1425 AH: "The story of Anas ibn An-Naḍhr is cited by scholars as evidence for the permissibility of plunging into the enemy ranks. What does this mean? It means that I, as a single individual, enter into a large group of enemies. This is not considered as throwing oneself into destruction!"
🤍. Praising leading figures of the Qutbi and Hizbi Movements and supporting individuals associated with the Khariji ideology in Egypt.
At the Aqiqah of his daughter Maymuna, Al-Huwaini was visited by three prominent figures of the Qutbi movement in Egypt. Praising them, he said: "Those who have honored us with their presence at this blessed gathering—we ask Allah, the Most High, to benefit you through them... Please come forward, Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Maqsood, Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Maqsood, Sheikh Fawzi Al-Saeed, and Sheikh Sayyid Al-Arabi. These individuals are stars… they are stars who need no introduction from us."

In a footnote (p. 9), he wrote: "Then the Sheikh passed away in Rajab 1417 AH. O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, and be pleased with him in return FOR HIS DEFENSE OF YOUR RELIGION AND HIS OUTSPOKEN PROCLAMATION OF THE TRUTH."
