’Ali Al-Halabi

Question: We seek clarification regarding the case of ’Ali ibn Hassan Al-Halabi, as people are divided in their views about him. Sheikh Abdulḥamīd Az-Zu'kari hafidahullāh: The clarification is that he is one who has been overcome by fitnah (maftoon), from the people of innovation who have deviated from the straight path.
