These are ten reflections, each introduced by an Āyah or a ḥadīth that applies to the condition of the people in question. I have presented them in this manner and style, hoping that Allāh, the Almighty, will make them beneficial for those afflicted by this trial and tribulation. I ask Allāh to grant us all repentance and to make us aware of our own faults, for He is All-Hearing and Ever-Near.
Note: There are various types of charity organisations—some are missionary (proselytizing) organisations, others are secular, nationalistic, or even Masonic. There are also Ikhwāni and explicitly Hizbi (political) organisations. There are some so-called charitable organisations that have joined the ranks and openly declared their Hizbiyyah, while others still conceal their political affiliations, as stated by Imam Al-Wadi’ee, may Allāh have mercy on him. [Refer to Ghārat Al-Ashriṭah, volume two, pages 19 to 23]
We ask Allāh for well-being and safety, seeking refuge in Him from all tribulations, both apparent and hidden.
