Question: What are the conditions of Khālid Ar-Rāshid and Sulaymān Ar-Ruḥaili?

Sheikh ’Ēsā Al-Muṣannif ḥafidhahullāh: As for Khālid Ar-Rāshid then he is a Takfīrī, Khāriji. As for Sheikh Sulaymān Ar-Ruḥaili then he is from the Sheikhs of Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamā’ah, however, he has some issues which warrant criticism, like his praise and his being deceived by some of the Hizbiyyīn from the barmakees and others. I ask Allāh to rectify us and him. He is much better off than Khālid Ar-Rāshid. May Allāh bless you. As it is said, there's a huge difference between the sand and the stars - i.e. There's a big difference between Sheikh Suleiman Ar-Ruḥaili and Khālid Ar-Rāshid, in that Suleiman Ar-Ruḥaili is much better than Khālid Ar-Rāshid, and he is one of the distinguished scholars, but he has some criticism which have been raised against him.
