BENEFIT 338: If it is forbidden for you, how can it be permissible for others?

Question: I own musical instruments, but after learning about this blessed Da’wah, I have repented to Allāh. Is it permissible for me to sell these instruments and use the proceeds for my family's needs, supporting the Da’wah, or other causes?
Sheikh Aḥmad An-Najmi raḥimahullāh:
If you sell them, others may be led astray through them. Instead, destroy them, and Allāh will compensate you.
