Here before you lies this precious and blessed work, unparalleled in its field, authored by our dear brother, Sheikh Salman Al-Imad—may Allah preserve and protect him.
As Allah, the Most High, has stated: "Nay, We hurl the truth against falsehood, and it knocks it out, and behold, falsehood vanishes! And woe to you for what you ascribe (to Allah)." (Al-Anbiya: 18)
And He, the Almighty, also said:
"And say: Truth has come, and falsehood has perished. Indeed, falsehood is ever bound to perish." (Al-Isra: 81)
And He, the Exalted, further declared: "He sends down water from the sky, and the valleys flow according to their capacity, and the flood carries a rising foam. And from what they melt in the fire to make ornaments or utensils, a similar foam rises. Thus does Allah present (a parable of) truth and falsehood: As for the foam, it vanishes like scum, but what benefits people remains on the earth. Thus does Allah set forth examples." (Ar-Ra’d: 17)
Many of those who have blindly aligned themselves with the Baramika and Ibanis, fiercely defending them with falsehood, are utterly ignorant of the tribulation they have ignited. Others, despite having witnessed the turmoil firsthand, remain oblivious to the truth due to blind imitation and a lack of engagement with scholarly, documented Salafi refutations. It is as if they have never recognised the reality of this fitnah or distinguished between truth and falsehood.
However, anyone who is sincere with Allah, striving to purify their intentions, seeking divine guidance with a genuine heart, and making efforts to read, research, and remain with Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah—such a person will inevitably be guided by Allah, enlightened, and protected from misguidance. As Allah says: "And those who strive in Our cause—We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good." (Al-Ankabut: 69)
It is for this reason that we have seen many who, upon merely hearing the name Baramika, immediately ask for a detailed account of the tribulation they have caused—from its inception to the present day. Yet, compiling all of this information is an immense task.
By Allah’s grace, however, He has decreed that someone would undertake the effort to gather and compile these scattered details into a comprehensive, well-researched, and unbiased academic work—true to his approach in all his refutations. Yet, this particular effort stands out with extraordinary diligence and precision, earning him deep appreciation.
This book has become a fundamental reference for anyone seeking well-documented truths, clear arguments, and radiant evidence. It is a work of fairness, meticulous verification, and rigorous scholarship, titled:
"Clarification and Explanation of the Fitnah of the Baramika and Ibanis."
May Allah reward its author abundantly, and may it be of benefit to Islam and the Muslims.
