BENEFIT 319: Describing nurses as angels of mercy
22 January 2025 • 1.81K views
Sheikh Ibn Baz rahimahullah said:
"It is not permissible to describe nurses as "angels of mercy," because angels are male and not female (1). Allah, the Exalted, has condemned the polytheists for attributing femininity to the angels. Furthermore, the term "angels of mercy" refers to a specific group of angels with unique characteristics that do not apply to nurses. Additionally, nurses include both the virtuous and the unvirtuous, so it is inappropriate to ascribe this description to them. And Allah is the One who grants success."
