COMMENTARY: disavowal is necessary from the Rafidah, Khawarij, polytheists, secularists, etc. But is this the case with Muhammad Al-Imam? They attend Houthi tra

10. I do not agree with Sheikh Muhammad in the terms of the treaty, but I say that it did result in peace for the Muslims at certain times and saved villages from the initial onslaught of those wretched people. However, I do not justify it, nor do I say it is permissible. But I say, we should not disregard our brother.
COMMENTARY: And Sheikh Yahya, is it permissible for you to disregard and undermine his efforts, while his da'wah by Allah’s grace, has been pure and clear, unlike that of Muhammad Al-Imam, whose followers have changed and adapted, aligning themselves with innovators and Hizbees. This is neither fair nor just, Sheikh Salih.
11. He (Muhammad Al-Imam) should request an amendment and withdraw
COMMENTARY: It has been around 11 years since they signed that pact. They still haven't requested an amendment or withdrawn it?
12. The differing/division should not be expanded. Sheikh Muhammad is among the best I have known in terms of knowledge and action; I perceive him as such and Allah will hold him to account.
COMMENTARY: The one who possesses knowledge (of the truth) serves as a proof against those who lack it. Similarly, a person well-informed about someone is a proof over those who are not. The judgment of a person's fellow countrymen is prioritised over others. We are well-acquainted with Muhammad Al-Imam, aware of his conduct during both times of peace and conflict, and familiar with his positions. Our Sheikh, Muqbil Al-Wad'ie, may Allah have mercy on him, once said:
«ولكن أهل معبر مغفلون»
"The people of Ma'bar are heedless." (Tuhfat Al-Mujeeb)
13. This is a mistake from Muhammad Al-Imam and he has returned to goodness...A person may be overcome with weakness under pressure or in certain situations.
COMMENTARY: It’s one thing to be weak and silent, but it’s another to make decisions on behalf of others and instruct them not to oppose the Houthis. How is this possible? He has turned him into one of their soldiers. Previously, (during the time of Ali Abdullah Salih) he referred to them as traitors and that whoever opens the route for them and gives them access to take over is also a traitor to Allah, His Messenger and the believers, and he frees himself from them. But now he says the opposite. This is a contradiction: in one situation, he distances himself, and in another, he embraces them.
14. I don't perceive that brother Muhammad Al-Imam did this mutually and willingly without any pressure or coercion.
COMMENTARY: Whether you perceive it or not, this is the reality, and we are obligated to judge based on what is apparent. He has openly stated that his words were motivated by religious conviction and not out of fear of anyone. He continues to affirm this in both private and public gatherings, whether in areas under Houthi control or elsewhere. In these settings, he refers to the fighting as a "fitnah." This indicates that he believes this and holds this stance willingly.
15. He concluded saying that Muhammad Al-Imam has a book that should be written in gold (i.e. Al-Ibanah)...However, there are brothers who, due to their extremism, view it differently. and this is something none of us have been safe from.
COMMENTARY: It is not correct to consider your own perspective as moderation while labeling the views of others as extremism. Sheikh Salih, I have personally seen some of Abul Hasan’s followers; major followers like Abu Hatim Al-Fadhli, asking about Al-Ibanah and rushing to acquire it; because it was very much like 'As-Siraaj Al-Wahhaaj' of Abul Hasan and the book of Al-Halabi. All these books were written in defence of mistakes, and now you, Sheikh Salih, defend Muhammad Al-Imam’s errors and say he should not be dismissed. This approach is from the results of Kitab Al-Ibanah.
