How can this be justified as coercion?? His son Abdullāh mixes with the Houthis, takes pictures with them...so Muhammad Al-Imam excused himself saying that he i

The issue is not about someone signing something out of coercion. He was not coerced. Allah says (interpreted meaning), "O My believing servants! My earth is truly spacious, so worship Me ˹alone˺." The is no need for this pact while other Salafis continue without it and their Da'wah stands firm to this day, Alhamdulillah. They did not compromise or give in. Also, they've now began to encourage people to take part in sit ins/protests during the last part of the Khutbahs. How are they coerced when they defend them and say they (Houthis) are Muslims? They misguide their students by declaring that if they hear someone cursing the Companions, they should ignore it. This is deceitful and treacherous behaviour.
7. Sheikh Salih then mentioned that we should bear with the mistakes of the Salafi, and cited how Imam Ahmad, when the Khurasani people made errors, he defended them and said they should be supported in their fight.
COMMENTARY: Ok, why didn't they apply this to Sheikh Yahya when he was besieged by the Rafidha? Why was there no such tolerance when they were under attack by the Rafidah, with missiles falling on their homes and masaajid, and with some killed, some wounded, and the fearful among them? Why did they not remain silent? Rather, they used this time to write and publish Al-Ibanah; during the siege. Does this not indicate a shift? Some of our brothers told Al-Bura'ee during that time to be patient with Sheikh Yahya, but he said: "Until when?" The war was taking place at that time, and still he says: "Until when? We were patient with Sheikh Muqbil." So they were never content with the Sheikh's Da'wah.
8. Then, he mentioned the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, saying he considered it a greater concession than the negotiations with the Houthis
COMMENTARY: This is an incorrect and misleading comparison. The Prophet ﷺ was in Madinah, while the idolaters were in Makkah, and Islam was clearly practiced, they commanded good and forbade evil, and the Da'wah efforts continued. Meanwhile, here we have thousands of people mixing with the Houthis, flattering and defending them. They claim that they do not consider their blood or wealth lawful, and they remain silent about their slander against the Mother of the Believers, Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her). Now, their students have grown weak. Abdulaziz Al-Bura'ee himself, in his speech, attests to this, saying that "I see maturity in knowledge but weakness in manhaj"; this is the reality. The claim that the terms of Hudaybiyyah treaty were more severe than the terms in this pact with the Houthis is incorrect. Did the Prophet ﷺ ever consider the disbelievers as right, as equals, or as Muslims who deserve the same rights and obligations? The answer is no. The Prophet ﷺ was commanded by Allah and achieved victory with the conquest of Makkah. Will Muhammad Al-Imam conquer San'a? How can he do so when fighting was taking place in Aden, he referred to it as "fitnah"? He directed others in Shabwa, Adh-Dhali, and Aden to avoid fighting. So much so that the Houthis entered Fuyoosh (the centre of Abdurrahman Al-Adeni) safely.
9. There's a difference between disavowal and agreeing a peace pact.
