الله أكبر!!!

A courier arrived from Syria to ’Umar ibn Abdul Aziz, and ’Umar asked him, "How did you leave the state of Syria?" The courier replied: «تركتُ ظالمهم مقهورًا، ومظلومهم ،منصورًا، وغَنِيَّهم موفورًا وفقيرهم محبورًا» "I left their oppressors subdued, their oppressed triumphant, their wealthy humbled, and their poor content." Umar responded: «الله أكبر، والله لو كانت لا تتمّ خَصلةٌ من هذه إلّا بفقد غضو من أعضائي لكان ذلك علي يسيرًا» "Allāhu Akbar! By Allāh, if achieving even one of these virtues required the loss of one of my limbs, it would have been a small sacrifice for me."
