Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allāh have mercy on him, said: «ومن لم يسره ما يسر المؤمنين ويسوءه ما يسوء المؤمنين فليس منهم» "Whoever is not pleased by what brings joy to the believers and is not distressed by what causes distress to the believers is not one of them." [Al-Fatāwā (10/128)] Just as Allāh has removed the evil and oppressive Ba'thist regime, we pray that He establishes Tawheed and Sunnah, granting peace and security to Syria and all Muslim lands.
