The question was framed as a trap to extract a warning or a statement to hold onto. However, Sheikh Suhaimi (wafaqahullah) clearly distinguished between the two. Regarding Al-Ma’ribi, he stated that his case is clear and no need to differ over him, whereas concerning Sheikh Yahya, he says that all we can do is supplicate for him. That said, Sheikh Suhaimi did remark, "His lapses are serious", which prompted Sheikh Muhammad Ba Jammal to recently issue a response to this audio clip. It is worth noting that this exchange between the mischievous questioner and Sheikh Suhaimi occurred over five years ago, but it seems Sheikh Muhammad only became aware of it recently, which explains the delayed response.
