Point to consider:

Muhammad Al-Imam claims that the Houthis are his brothers in faith (having absolved them of Kufr, despite acknowledging that they curse the Sahabah) and even refers to some of their leaders as 'Sayyid.' This has been reciprocated in kind by the Rafidha. Doesn't this suggest a flaw in his walaa wal baraa? Isn't walaa wal baraa among the fundamental principles of Salafiyyah? Isn't the violation of such a fundamental principle enough to remove someone from Salafiyyah?
